Berlin, Germany – SPREAD, the decision intelligence layer for engineering, today announced that it has joined the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) and is now available on AWS Marketplace. Together, these steps strengthen SPREAD's ability to scale Engineering Intelligence globally and give enterprise customers a faster, more trusted path to procure and deploy the platform.
Engineering is entering a new phase driven by two shifts. AI capabilities are advancing rapidly. At the same time, core industries such as automotive, aerospace, and defense are accelerating their move to the cloud. This combination is redefining how engineering organizations operate. Cloud infrastructure becomes the foundation for global collaboration, data access, and computing at scale. AI moves from isolated use cases into core engineering workflows.
SPREAD and AWS jointly enable this transition. SPREAD provides the Engineering Intelligence layer that connects and contextualizes product data across systems and domains through a functional Product Twin. AWS provides the scalable, secure cloud infrastructure required to deploy this capability across global engineering organizations. The combination allows companies to move from fragmented, tool-centric environments to a unified, cloud-based foundation where engineering data, workflows, and AI operate in one system.
The shift is already visible in industries with high software intensity. In automotive, organizations are moving toward centralized architectures and cloud-based development environments to manage software-defined vehicles at scale. In aerospace and defense, cloud adoption is accelerating more gradually, but is becoming strategically critical to enable collaboration, program speed, and data-driven decision-making under increasing complexity and geopolitical pressure.
Across both segments, the direction is clear. Engineering is becoming cloud-native, and AI is moving into the core of engineering workflows rather than sitting alongside them.
SPREAD, built on AWS, enables organizations to operationalize this shift by:
Availability on AWS Marketplace reduces friction at the points where enterprise deals typically slow down: procurement, legal review, and internal approval. Customers can discover, evaluate, and purchase SPREAD through an established AWS procurement path, consolidate spend under existing AWS agreements, and access private offers. For OEMs and industrial groups that already standardize AWS, this turns cloud infrastructure into a direct route to faster enterprise onboarding and easier expansion.
Joining the AWS Partner Network and launching on AWS Marketplace allows SPREAD to scale deployments faster and support enterprise requirements for performance, security, and compliance. More importantly, it positions SPREAD as a core layer in the emerging engineering stack. Systems of record stay in place. Cloud platforms provide scale. SPREAD connects both into a single foundation built on explicit product logic, making product truth usable for AI-driven decisions at enterprise scale.
"We are excited to join the AWS Partner Network and support the shift toward cloud-native engineering," said Philipp Noll, Co-Founder and Managing Director of SPREAD. "AI will fundamentally change how products are built. The prerequisite is a shared, contextual understanding of the product. Together with AWS, we provide the foundation to make that operational at scale."
About SPREAD
SPREAD AI empowers global manufacturers to unite, understand, and act on their product data. Founded by Philipp Noll and Robert Göbel in 2019, SPREAD began with the belief that engineering decisions are only as good as the data behind them. That principle still guides how the company builds technology today. Leading global brands use SPREAD's Engineering Intelligence Platform to accelerate development, reduce costs, improve product quality, and increase uptime. SPREAD employs 100 people, primarily in their Berlin HQ. For more information, visit www.spread.ai.
